LabTest Certification Inc. is a Canadian-based Testing & Certification Body located in Delta, BC. We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our Delta office for the position of Junior Mechanical Technician.
In this role, you will be working in the Technical Department (Building Materials Area) and under the supervision of the VP of Engineering to assist Project Holders and Lab Manager.
Job Duties
- Performs construction evaluation based on CSA/UL or other applicable standards
- Prepares test datasheet packages based on CSA/UL or other applicable standards
- Prepares and compiles test data results and reports
- Prepares test set-ups and conduct tests using various measurement instruments, tools and/or equipment
- Assists in set up of Building Materials lab
- Maintains work area in lab organized and clean
- Attends and assists the Project Holder, as needed
Education and Experience
- Diploma in the Mechanical field
- Fluency in English – verbal, and written

Working Conditions
- Mainly at office located at Delta, B.C. Canada
- Some travel will be required
- Some physical lifting will be required
