- The actuator must not be opened, connected and/or disconnected or serviced unless the area is known to be non-hazardous.
- For the 25972XP2 model, the actuator must be grounded through the external grounding lug before connecting the Turck cables.
- Substitution of components may impair hazardous location suitability.
- All joints shall be properly tightened in order to maintain the declared ingress protection IP54 and the ingress protection required by Type 4X protection.
- 24VDC power must be supplied by a Class 2 power supply.
- All cover screws must be installed and tightened during normal operation. When cover removal is necessary for calibration, only do so when the area is known to be non-hazardous.
