Special Inspections are a great solution for the approval of General Electrical Equipment (CSA SPE-1000) and Medical Electrical Equipment & Systems (CSA SPE-3000) produced in limited quantities and installed and operated in Canada.

UNITED STATES

Together with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and the nationally recognized safety standards that apply to the product being evaluated, NFPA 790/791 is the recommended practice and procedure for the Field Evaluation of unapproved Electrical equipment operated in the United States. With NFPA 791, products are labeled at the final installation site. In addition to being an OSHA-recognized NRTL, LabTest Certification is also an IAS (International Accreditation Service) accredited FEB (Field Evaluation Body).
