When installed in the end-product, consideration shall be given to the following:

1. UL 62368-1 Second Edition: Safety of Audio/video, information and communication technology equipment is considered in this evaluation only.
2. Clearance/creepage – clearance and creepage distance for electric insulation shall be evaluated according to end-product use.
3. Proper bonding to the end-product main protective earthing termination is required.
4. The production line test shall be evaluated in end product use.
5. This evaluation excludes the 8.6 Stability of equipment and 8.11.3 Mechanical strength test by the customer’s request. It may need to be evaluated in the end-product application, which shall be determined according to end-product use.
6. The acceptance of the final installation of the overall equipment shall be determined by the end use or AHJ.
