- All unused device openings must be fitted with a Class I, Division 1 certified close-up plug.
- All cable glands used in the device must be of certified Class I, Division 1 cable glands.
- The end user is to ensure appropriate earthing upon installation.
- Power input and output (I/O) wiring shall be accordance with Class I, Division 1 wiring method per the Canadian Electrical Code for installation within Canada.
- Final acceptance of this equipment when installed is subject to the jurisdiction of the local inspection authority.
- Cables must be effectively clamped to prevent pulling or twisting.
- Customers will be responsible for maintaining the temperature inside the explosion proof chamber above -20°C.
- The enclosure shall not be open when the explosive atmosphere is present.
