• The maximum surface temperature rise has been assigned T4 (135°C). Any flammable substances with an auto-ignition temperature of less than 135°C must not be used.
• No changes to or modifications of the intrinsically safe barriers are permitted without additional assessment.
• Intrinsically safe cables from the safety barriers to the probe must be protected against mechanical damage during installation, operation and maintenance.
• The cable length between the safety barrier in a non-hazardous area and probe must be less than 15 meters.
• A separation of at least 50mm must be maintained between all the different intrinsically safe cable and non-intrinsically safe cables at all times.
• Intrinsically safe when connected as per control drawing BA-EX_CONTROL_MAR_2023
