• All the units are approved for use with Natural Gas only and they are identical in construction and have the same components.
• The units approval is valid only for Oakridge Centre, 650 W 41St Avenue, Vancouver, BC, V5Z 2M9, Canada location.
• The units have an intermittent pilot ignited with spark ignition.
• The units have a start ignition point at 40% of declared input.
• Pre-purge time 74 seconds
• Post purge time 30 seconds.
• The thermostat can be set at maximum 203°F with normal temperature use pre-set at 176°F.
• The trial for ignition is 6 seconds. The ignitor starts 2 seconds before the gas is open to the pilot and it has 1 tryout before the unit goes in lock down.
• The flame failure was measured at 1.5 seconds.
• The units are vented in an exhaust line provided with automatic damper that is part of the building automation.
• The units are provided with Low water cut-off sensor and relief valves installed on the hot water line, close to the ASME stamped tank.
• Each unit is provided with the following safety components:
• 2 Hi-limit temperature sensors set at 200°F and 250°F
• Certified Burner System containing power burner, burner head, ignition module, provided with flame sensor and air flow pressure switch.
• Primary temperature control pre-set to maximum 176°F
• Pressure sensors for proving the combustion fan and the damper prior initiation of ignition.
