The model DCF42 is direct vent gas fireplace heater.
Unit is suitable for zero clearance installation.
This unit was tested worst case without the fan as this unit can be used with the variable speed fan.
For use with tempered glass door certified with this appliance only.
Use with listed 2-ply aluminum rigid and flex-pipe venting 4 inch exhaust and 7 inch air intake side: Metal-Fab, Security, and Dura-Vent venting.
Unit is not to be used with solid fuel.
Unit is also referred to as DCF42 ELITE DESIGNER CLEAN FACE.
DCF42 Select model is the same as the DCF42 model with the lone exception of a different log set and burner combination being utilized. This log set is a 4 piece log set, part number IMC1202-SEL. DCF42 uses burner tray part 408, DCF42 Select uses burner tray part 408-b. No other changes between the DCF42 and the DCF42 Select models
