LabTest Certification Inc. is a Canadian-based Testing, Certification, and Inspection Body with 20+ years in the TIC industry, with our head office in Delta, BC (Canada), and additional locations in Richmond, BC (Canada), Toronto, ON (Canada), and Las Vegas, NV (USA).
We are currently looking for an individual, who likes challenges, to fulfill the full-time position as a Technical Reviewer in the Technical Department. In this position you must be able to travel across Canada; however, Delta is the main office where you will report.

Expertise and Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, field inspections, and standards interpretation
Professional Engineer or AScT association member, preferred
Education:
Bachelor of Science/Engineering or equivalent experience in the technical field.
If hired, what will you be doing at LabTest? Duties and responsibilities
Testing, Evaluations, and Inspections
- Coordinate and perform technical testing and inspections alongside test technicians and field inspectors.
- Ensure tests are conducted according to approved standards and procedures.
Planning & Results Analysis
- Prepare project and test plans using applicable standards or developed methods.
- Develop and approve templates for evaluation and inspection data collection.
- Review and interpret results in collaboration with the technical team.
Reporting & Interpretation
- Draft and finalize comprehensive reports, including construction evaluations, testing results, and inspection summaries.
- Provide technical interpretations and validate the results of tests performed.
- Report project status and outcomes to the President and leadership team.
Method Improvement & Development
- Continuously improve existing testing and inspection methods.
- Develop and validate new testing methods in line with evolving standards and practices.
Proficiency Testing (PT) Program Management
- Monitor and update the Proficiency Testing (PT) program annually, as per internal guidelines
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Review & Approval
- Review and approve technical reports, project files, and test documentation.
Collaboration & Standards Participation
- Represent the company in national standards committees and technical audits.
- Support accreditation processes and participate in internal/external audits.
- Collaborate with Sales and Certification departments to support project quoting and timelines.
- Work closely with regulatory bodies (NRTLs, CBs, etc.) to ensure project success.
- Schedule and assign technical personnel for testing, construction evaluation, and field inspections.

- 8 hours/day – may occasionally need to work out of office hours to attend functions and events.
- Travelling availability: Travelling may be required at times – local/international travel (valid passport preferred)
