Launcher Controller:
- Launch Controller must be powered by an external Class 2 power supply.
- The final installation of the Launcher Controller enclosure shall comply with the requirements of NFPA 70 (for installations in the USA) and the Canadian Electrical Code (CE Code) for installations in Canada regarding wiring methods in Zone 2 and Division 2 hazardous locations. The installation is subject to approval by the local authority having jurisdiction (AHJ).
- The cable connecting the launcher controller to the vessel shall be protected against mechanical damage, shall be no longer than 6 meters in total length, and must maintain a minimum separation of 50 mm from all other cables.
- Refer to the instruction manual for safety instructions.
Camera Module:
- Camera shall only be charged in safe area using a charger approved as SELV or Class 2 equipment against IEC 62368 or an equivalent IEC standard.
- The maximum voltage and current from the charger Um and Im shall not exceed 5 VDC and 3A respectively. The ambient temperature during charging shall be in the range -20℃ to +50℃.
- Any data download devices via the type-c interface shall be approved as SELV or Class 2 equipment against IEC 62368 or an equivalent IEC standard. The maximum voltage Um from the device shall not exceed 5 VDC.
- The equipment shall only be used in locations where there is a low risk of mechanical impact.
- Camera shall be charged only in areas known to be non-hazardous.
- Under certain extreme circumstances, the non-metallic parts incorporated in the enclosure of this equipment may generate an ignition-capable level of electrostatic charge. Therefore, the equipment shall not be installed in a location where the external conditions are conducive to the build-up of electrostatic charge on such surfaces. In addition, the equipment shall only be cleaned with damp cloth.
- Refer to the instruction manual for safety instructions.
Additional Notes:
- Camera cannot be used while charging – Battery is charged in separate remote cradle, not part of DUT.
- Battery connects to main housing externally, through pin contacts.
- Operated by SKILLED Person – Only Skill safeguard required.
