Condition of Acceptability/Scheduled of Limitations for Ex Components:

2. This certification is for empty Stainless steel/ Aluminum enclosures only.
3. The content of the Ex-component enclosure equipment may be placed in any arrangement, provided that, for group IIB and IIB+H2 an area of at least 40% of each cross-sectional area remains free.
4. The accessories used for cable entries and for closing unused openings shall be certified according to UL 60079-0 and CSA C22.2 No. 60079-0, UL 60079-1, CSA C22.2 No 60079-1 and, UL 60079-31 and CSA C22.2 No 60079-31. A minimum degree of protection IP66 (with operators installed) and IP67 (without operators installed) shall be guaranteed according to CSA C22.2 No. 60529: 2016 (R2021) standard.

Specific Conditions of Use:

1. THIS EQUIPMENT SHALL BE INSTALLED SO THAT THE FLANGED JOINT(S) ARE NOT WITHIN (40 mm) OF A SOLID OBJECT THAT IS NOT PART OF THIS EQUIPMENT. i.e. THE MINIMUM DISTANCE BETWEEN FLAMEPROOF FLANGED JOINT OF THE ENCLOSURE AND EXTERNAL OBSTACLE SHOULD BE 40 mm FOR IIB+H₂ EXECUTION.
2. SEAL SHALL BE PROVIDED WITHIN 50 mm OF THE THREADED CONDUIT.
3. THE COVER FIXING SCREWS IF REPLACED, SHOULD BE OF SAME TYPE OR BETTER QUALITY IN TERMS OF TENSILE STRENTH AND YIELD STRESS i.e. Use screws of quality (A4-70) with tensile strength of at least 700 N/mm^{2 .}
