LabTest Certification Inc. is a Canadian-based Testing, Certification, and Inspection Body with head office in Delta, BC (Canada), and additional locations in Richmond, BC, Oakville, ON (Canada), and Las Vegas, NV (USA).

A well-established company with 20+ years in the TIC industry and locations worldwide is looking for an experienced Technical Marketing Strategist to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives that generate qualified opportunities, strengthen LabTest’s market presence, and support business growth. This position reports directly to the President.

  • Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing principles
  • Previous experience generating qualified leads and supporting revenue growth
  • Customer and results-focused mindset
  • Creative and able to think outside the box
  • Self-motivated and target-driven
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings
  • Sound judgment and good business sense
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing analytics is an asset
  • Experience in technical or TIC-related industries is an asset

If hired, what will you be doing at LabTest?
As a Technical Marketing Strategist, key duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Developing and executing marketing strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Identifying target industries, products, and regulatory markets that require testing, inspection, and certification services
  • Generating qualified marketing opportunities suitable for quotation by the sales team
  • Managing digital marketing channels including website, SEO initiatives, CRM campaigns, and webinars
  • Supporting trade shows, conferences, and industry events to strengthen market visibility
  • Coordinating marketing initiatives with sales and technical teams to ensure alignment with business development objectives
  • Translating technical services into clear marketing messaging and value propositions
  • Monitoring industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activity impacting TIC services
  • Maintaining marketing collateral, website content, and promotional materials
  • Tracking marketing KPIs including lead generation, campaign performance, and pipeline contribution
  • Recording and maintaining marketing activity reports to support strategic decision making
  • Supporting brand awareness, corporate communications, and industry positioning initiatives
