As per the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) MRA, LabTest was designated under the terms of the Mutual Recognition Agreements/Arrangements (MRAs) to the requirements of foreign Regulatory Authorities as a Testing Laboratory for Conformity Assessment of Telecommunication Equipment.

This recognition enables manufacturers to have their devices tested locally, thereby reducing both costs and time-to-market while avoiding the logistical and cultural challenges associated with sending products overseas for testing.

As a recognized Testing Laboratory under the APEC MRA, test results and reports prepared by LabTest are accepted by participating member economies for telecommunication approvals and certifications.
