LabTest’s new OATS for EMC Testing

April 10, 2007 – LabTest Certification Inc. increases EMC testing capabilities to now be able to conducted radiated emissions testing using their new Open Area Test Site (OATS).

With the new site LabTest is able to conduct full range of radiated emissions testing from 10Hz to 26GHz .

This includes full compliance testing for intentional and unintentional radiators for:

  • FCC (ex. Part 15, 18 and etc.)
  • Industry Canada (ex. ICES-001 – 005, RSS-119, RSS-123, RSS-136, RSS-210 and etc.)
  • EMC Directive
  • R&TTE Directive
  • Marine Equipment Directive (ex. IEC/EN 60945)
  • Automotive Directive
  • SAE-J1113

The new site is located at 5340 – 164 Street, Surrey, BC making it close and convenient for manufactures located in the Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, Langley, Surrey and other surrounding city in the lower mainland.
